Zinan Temple

Zhushan Tzunan Temple

Zhushan Zinan Temple, also known as Sheliao Zinan Temple, is a Taiwanese temple dedicated to Tudigong, the God of Earth and Wealth. It is located on Dagong Street in Sheliao Village, Zhushan Township, Nantou County.
Known for the saying “Sky Lanterns in the North, Beehive Fireworks in the South, and Dingjiu Feast in the Center,” Zinan Temple is especially crowded on the 16th day of the first lunar month, when thousands gather to partake in the traditional Dingjiu feast. This event reflects the temple’s strong spiritual following and vibrant festive atmosphere.
Together with Nanshan Fude Temple in Zhonghe (also known as Hongludi) and Fu’an Temple in Checheng, Pingtung, Zinan Temple is regarded as one of the three major Tudigong (God of Earth) temples in Taiwan. Over time, it has also evolved into a popular tourist destination.
