Tainan Confucius Temple Storage Box

The Tainan Confucius Temple, located in the West Central District of Tainan City, Taiwan, is the oldest Confucian temple in the country. It was built in the 19th year of the Yongli reign during the Ming Zheng period (1665).
In the early Qing period, it was the only place in Taiwan where young scholars (tongsheng) could enroll, earning it the honorable title of “The First Academy of Taiwan” (Quán Tái Shǒu Xué).
Before and after important exams, many students visit the temple in hopes that Master Confucius will bless them with success and academic achievement.
